Joseph R. Thomas grew up in south Atlanta. He is one of seven children. He started acting at the age of fourteen at The Company Acting School in Atlanta founded by NYC’s own Lisina Longo-Stoneburner. Paraphrasing James Lipton, “We will become not only better actors, but better human beings.” He graduated in 2016 with his Master of Fine Arts degree. Since graduation he has appeared in several shows at The Gallery Players and The Midtown International Theatre Festival. Along with acting in several films produced by Sacred Heart University, Columbia University, NYU Tisch, Chris Blieka, and IFI of NY.
